We pump out portable toilets at building sites, events, farms and gardens in Riga and the Riga region, servicing all the cabins in one trip. Prices start from €75 for up to 4 m³; send a request with the number of cabins and the location.
How portable toilet pumping differs from septic tank pumping
A portable toilet's tank is small, so the contents of one cabin take up only part of the truck's capacity. The job is determined not by the volume but by the number of cabins, where they stand and how often they need servicing.
- In one trip we pump out all the cabins on site, as long as the total volume fits in the truck.
- The tank usually contains a chemical additive against odour. These contents must be taken to a wastewater reception point like any other wastewater. They must not be poured onto the ground or into a ditch.
- On a building site, cabins get moved around over time, so with each request check that the truck can still reach them.
LBN 223-15 (Cabinet Regulation No. 327), point 111: the contents of dry toilets and holding tanks are fed into the mains sewer through septage reception stations. Mārupe Municipality Binding Regulations No. 13/2023, point 15.2: discharging untreated wastewater into the ground, surface waters, land drainage ditches, drainage and the stormwater sewer is prohibited. Portable toilet pumping at a building site
On a building site, access matters most. Cabins often stand by the fence, behind piles of materials or next to an excavation, and after rain the access road becomes hard to drive on.
- In your request, give the site address, the entrance and a contact person on site.
- If the site has a pass system or the gates are kept locked, arrange this before the day of the visit.
- Cabins grouped together close to the road are quicker and cheaper to service than cabins scattered across the site.
Portable toilet servicing at an event
At an event that lasts several days, the toilets must be emptied during the event, not just afterwards. Event cabins fill up much faster than those on a building site because there are more users.
- Plan the pumping for a time when there are no visitors: early in the morning or between event days.
- Leave the truck a clear route to the cabins; stages, tents and cables on the ground can block it.
- In your request, give the event dates, the number of cabins and the approximate number of visitors. Based on that, we will agree how many trips are needed.
How the pumping works
- Request The number of cabins, the address, the date, access, and whether you need regular servicing. After you fill in the form, we contact you within 5 minutes.
- Pumping Each cabin's tank is pumped down to the bottom. If you want water with an additive poured into the tank afterwards, have your own additive ready and mention it in your request.
- Disposal and document We take the contents to a wastewater reception point. You receive a document with the address, the volume and the date. For a business, it can be made out to the company's details.
When you don't need us
If the cabin is rented, check the rental agreement first: pumping and cleaning are often already included in the price, and the rental company comes on its own schedule. Cassette-type chemical toilets in campervans and boats are emptied by the users themselves at special disposal points. If a garden house has a dry toilet with a pit, that is a different job. See dry toilet pumping.
In winter
A frozen tank can't be pumped. If the cabins stand outside all winter, use an additive with antifreeze properties and pump them out before a hard frost sets in, not afterwards.
How much portable toilet pumping costs
One trip with a total volume of up to 4 m³ costs from €75; if there are many cabins, the volume can reach the next band: up to 6 m³ from €90. Outside Riga we add a travel charge of about €1 per kilometre. The price depends on the number of cabins and how spread out they are, on access, and on whether repeat trips are needed during an event.
